Dr. Michael L. Resnick is a
graduate of Northwestern University Medical School,
Chicago, Illinois.
He completed a rotating externship in thoracic diseases
and cardiology at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and a
residency at Cornell University Medical Center, New York
Hospital, New York City.
Dr. Resnick—a former major in the U.S. Air Force—holds
medical licenses in several states, including
California, Nevada, New York, Tennessee, North Carolina
and Kentucky. His previous practices encompassed
obstetrics, gynecology, laser surgery and infertility.
Over the years, he used his medical expertise in radio
and television, including as CBS Medical Reporter
(Phoenix, AZ) and Healthwatch Reporter (Miami, FL);
ABC’s Medical Editor (Las Vegas, NV) and ABC’s Staying
Healthy reporter (San Diego, CA).
Dr. Resnick has also been the home physician for medical
segments on ABC’s “The Home Show,” hosted by Gary
Collins.
Dedicated to medicine, advanced learning and his
patients, Dr. Resnick currently is a member of several
organizations, including the American Medical
Association, American Fertility Society, Alpha Epsilon
Society and Phi Beta Kappa.
His civic commitment encompasses work with the March of
Dimes and the Make a Wish Foundation.
